  • tryRoot(domain: string, type: string, id: string): EntityReference | undefined

  • root, returning undefined where it throws. For ids you don't control. Takes no version: build a reference with a version qualifier through root.

    Any refused input yields undefined, including one of the wrong type from an untyped caller.
