entityReferenceOfTwinEntity

  • entityReferenceOfTwinEntity(twinId: string, gid: string): EntityReference | undefined

  • The entity reference of an entity in a twin's merged model, twin~twin:<twinId>.entity:<gid>, with no version qualifier. A gid is unique only within one merged model; for the entity as it appears in one of the twin's files, use entityReferenceOfTwinFileEntity.

    Never throws. Returns undefined when twinId is not a lowercase uuid or gid is not a canonical IFC GlobalId; both are used as written, with no case normalisation.
